Reading Habits

My reading habits have declined quite a bit over the years. In school my mom read the books to me until I was like 11, so I had a hard time encouraging myself to read on my own but I never did that bad on the book tests. By the time I got out of high school I was able to choose my books.  I was a Monster High fan so I had all their books, but the first book that totally got me was "Asylum" by Madeline Roux. My mom bought it for me in Bariloche, for a study trip. I was captivated by his photographs, many of them were edited, but they looked very realistic, like a "found footage" movie. It is a 7 books saga (4 books and 3 smaller books which contains additional information). Madeleine is my favorite author, and the best thing is that I have 3 of these books autographed by her. The last book I read was "cuando temblamos" which is about 6 stories that take place in Patagonia. In general it is like a psychological triller because all the characters have very st...

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

It's hilarious to talk about this issue because since I entered the university I've been witnessing strikes and sit-ins, mostly due to structural failures. Some of this problems may seem ridiculous because they are basic things for the proper functioning of an educational center, but unfortunately they are real facts. Just a month ago we went on strike in response to the return to classes. 1-. Many employees work  with Fee slip, which is not strange, the problem arises when they've not been paid for months. To make matters worse, if you want to be hired, you must enter a kind of contest where professors show their presentations and the winner is hired. 2-. The university does not have sanitary implements to resume classes. 3-.workshops continue to have problems such as lack of tools or tool malfunctions. 4-. It doesn't comply with safety r...

A Journey to the Past

If there was a possibility to travel in time it would be to the past. I couldn't specify a date but it would be around the XI-XV century and I'd like to travel through several countries, but specifically Europe and Asia. Because I've always been very interested in their mythological creatures.  For example. When we talk about centaurs we have the idea that they were born from the imagination of the natives when they saw others people riding horse. The unicorns on the other hand are said to be narwhals and I'd seen illustrations of "hippocampus", which were horses with fins. But curiously, there were horses with a protuberance on the head, although it was not very big. What would it be like in the case of dragons? What kind of animal could have inspired this? Many of these beings have in common that they are seen in more than one culture, such as the European dragon that was more similar to a dinosaur with wings versus the Asian dragon that was more similar to ...
